  Sunday, April 6, 2025 Having set aside the date during our last outing, I was completely surprised to learn that we were again heading into new territory. Lisa was driving and we 91ed north to Greenfield, MA and Four Phantoms Brewing Co. We arrived a little after 3 p.m. and parked within a few feet of the front entrance.  Saturday, February 22, 2025 The text came in at 9:04 a.m. from Lisa - "We are thinking about Skyline brewery for our outing later. What do you think?" I was peeling and trimming celeriac at the time and listening to some rather loud synth-wave that Linda had going in the dining area and completely missed hearing the signal on my phone. About 3 hours later, Lisa called and after I answered the phone asked the same question. "Heck yeah" was my instant thought. With that, the 2025 Spirited Tour kicked off. Seems like Westfield has yet another Brew Pub for us to visit.  Sunday, October 20, 2024 While enjoying ourselves at Brick and Feather Brewery in Turners Falls, MA on Sept. 22 we spent a few minutes making some tentative selections for the next couple of months. One of our selections for October was Bright Ideas Brewery in Westfield, a satellite location to their original location in North Adams, MA. Today turned out to be an ideal opportunity to check this out because of the beautiful weather in the 70's and determining that the Williamsburg brew pub we also considered for October was not yet open to the public. Located in the vicinity of Barnes Air National Guard Air Base, Bright Ideas Brewery in Westfield is the closest one to my home in Southampton. It turned out to be a very good selection.  Sunday, September 22, 2024 Our Spirited Tour kicked into gear again for the 2024 season with a first-time trip to the Brick and Feather Brewery in Turners Falls, MA. It was a beautiful, if somewhat chilly, afternoon that featured plenty of laughs, especially since when we left Southampton heading north. We thought we were going to Floodwater Brewing in Turners Falls, but when we neared our destination, Lisa looked at her notes and discovered that Floodwater Brewing is in Shelburne Falls, MA. After a confusing couple of minutes, we rediscovered that we were, indeed, really heading to Brick and Feather and that the confusion was due to the way our brew pub data is stored and presented on Lisa's phone. We may have been heading in the wrong direction for where we thought we were headed, but, in fact, we were headed in the right direction for where we intended to wind up.  Sunday, July 7, 2024 Our Spirited Tour advanced the 2024 season with a first-time trip to Vanished Valley Brewing in Ludlow, MA. - a modest drive east on the turnpike. The dining area was busy with a couple free tables, so we chose one near a window with a view of the outside deck area which featured live music but was poorly attended due to the sweltering heat. We noticed the staircase leading to the downstairs taproom which isn't open on Sundays. We also noticed a large, tented area in the far rear of the property - perhaps this is the beer garden.
